Wander around Ciutadella and its surroundings
Ciutadella is the most occidental city of the island of Menorca, and for most, “a jewel made of stone”. The facades of its medieval palaces and churches, the cobblestones of its narrow streets and the gothic cathedral are what make this city so appealing.
During winter the neuralgic centre of the city is located in its squares, the Plaça Nova, the Plaça d’es Born, or the Plaça d’es Mercat. Meanwhile, in summer, the small and picturesque port becomes the centre of attention, where the gastronomic offer is excellent.
In less than 30 minutes by car, we can find some of the most incredible beaches of the Mediterranean: Macarella, Turqueta, Son Saura, Binigaus or Cala Mitjana. You can also witness the most chromatic sunset of the island in Punta Nati. There is the skeleton of a bicentennial quarry made of marés in the Pedreres de s’Hostal, and still close to the hotel, there are 20 stages that form the itinerary of the GR, which circles Menorca with the Camí de Cavalls.
